Using more than one account
Hold several ProjectPacer accounts (different email logins) in one browser and switch between them — without signing out.
Some people have more than one ProjectPacer account — say a personal you@studio.com and a client-issued you@client.com. Linked accounts let you hold them both in the same browser and flip between them in a click, the way you switch accounts in Notion or Linear.
This is different from belonging to several workspaces. Workspaces live under one login; accounts are separate logins (different emails, different passwords). If all your workspaces are under one email, you don't need this — just switch workspaces.
Add an account
Open the account switcher (bottom of the sidebar, or the top bar on mobile) → Add account. You'll confirm two things:
Enter its email and password — you're signing in to it for real. Nothing is merged; it stays a separate account.
Confirm the password of the account you're already signed in to. Adding an account is a sensitive action, so we re-check it's really you.
Once added, you switch to it automatically. Both accounts now appear in the switcher, grouped by email, each with its own workspaces underneath.
Switch, and sign out
- Switch — pick any account (or one of its workspaces) in the switcher; the app reloads into it.
- Log out all — signs out of every linked account in this browser at once.
- Each account is independent: unlinking one (or changing its password) never affects the others.
Linked accounts stay signed in on this browser. Use it on your own device, and Log out all on anything shared. Changing an account's password immediately unlinks it here until you add it again.
Switching accounts is a full sign-in swap: you see exactly that account's workspaces, data, and permissions — never a merged view across accounts. Your cross-workspace views still work within whichever account is active.
